The Trustee

Looking after the Scheme, and you.

The Trustee is responsible for ensuring that the Scheme is administered in accordance with pension legislation and the Scheme rules.

The trustee journey

Capital Cranfield Pension Trustees Limited. Sole Trustee to the Scheme since January 2023.

  • 2013 · The founding board

When the Scheme was established in 2013, following the demerger from FKI Group, it was overseen by a board of trustees drawn from the company and its members.

  • 2023 · A single professional Trustee

From 1 January 2023, Capital Cranfield Pension Trustees Limited was appointed as sole Trustee, bringing independent, full-time professional governance to the Scheme.

  • Today · A proven track record

Capital Cranfield Pension Trustees holds nearly 300 Scheme appointments and around 90 of them are corporate sole trustee appointments making them one of the leaders in this market. Under the sole trustee solution, at least two professional trustees coming from complimentary backgrounds look after Scheme matters at any given time, sharing their expertise and exercising their independent perspectives.

“We believe professional trusteeship works best as a team — bringing collective judgement and continuity to every decision.”
