Growing each year
"Between leaving and your Normal Retirement Date, your deferred pension is revalued each year in line with the Scheme rules, helping it keep pace over time."
-
Yours to draw
"When you reach retirement you can take an annual pension for life, usually with the option of a tax-free cash sum. Different rules apply if you retire early, late or through ill health."
Free for deferred members
Financial advice, on the Scheme.
As a deferred member you have access to the Hub — a financial guidance service set up for Bridon members and paid for by the Scheme, so it is free for you to use. Its advisers can talk you through your retirement options, how your deferred pension fits with your wider plans, and the decisions you may face as retirement comes into view. For many members it is the most valuable support the Scheme offers.
